Most Recent Favourite Youtube Channel

Drew McCoy is my favourite youtuber, his youtube is called "Genetically Modified Skeptic". One of the reasons why I enjoy watching his videos is because he is exceedingly skilled at conveying the message to his viewers in a significantly engaging way. 

He is an exceptional speaker with clear articulation. He speaks very well, with the proper volume, enunciating clearly, grammatically correct, with almost none verbal crutches. Although he tends to speak pretty fast, he never trips on his words nor does it make his words less difficult to hear. He is able to pack his sentences that most of the times include difficult words (because the topic of his videos are intellectually demanding) in an outstandingly effective and understandable delivery. His messages always felt very informative and mind blowing to me. 

 

Another thing I want to highlight from McCoy is that he has a remarkably engaging presentation style. He excels in making a talk that could have been boring become exciting and come across as engaging and just really draws the audience's interest and attention. He seems to be aware of how to control his vocal tone, body language, facial expression, and most importantly his timing so the audience can really grasp his highest potential as a speaker. 

One last thing that I really love from McCoy is just how confident and intelligent he is. Even if he actually isn't as smart as he sounds, anyone who watches his video will automatically get the impression that this man is very clever. This is because of how he attentively projects his desired image that he wants the audience to have of him and executes it with expertise.  One of his most prominent points is his logical reasoning and his rationality and I think he does an excellent job in showing that to the audience thereby, convincing the audience to believe and agree with his clearly delivered and informative opinions and facts. This is supported by how assertive and sure he sounds when he speaks, a very important public speaking skill to note in my personal opinion.
